NOT SURE HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS

A very nice person tagged me in this and I don't want to hurt her feelings so I guess I'll keep it up until the event is over. It's nice that they want to help homeless people (I'm probably about to become one)  but not sure about the way they do it. Sure, menstruation is a natural thing but I don't consider it "beautiful." Should we maybe have a "movement" to collect for homeless people with diarrhea? Toilet paper? Kaopectectate? Bumwipes? Incontinent pants? Ironically they're part of a group called "classy.org."

WENT TO THE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER

Was really dragging but didn't want to miss it as I hadn't missed a single one since 1996 or '97. Was probably the tamest (read lamest) one I've ever been to.

K TOLD ME L WAS DISRESPECTFUL TO ME

That was good to hear, even though it was years ago. 

WHAT HAPPENED

About a month ago I had a horrible sore throat, toothache, earache. Went to Promptcare in Adams Morgan. Guy did a strep culture which was negative, told me I had an allergy, said take Claritin, which did no good, and Flonase, which just made my nose bleed. A week later I was worse. This time the strep culture was positive, fever went up to 103.3. They gave me an antibiotic which did no good. When I asked for another one they told me to go to my primary care or to the ER. Going to my primary care was a mistake—I could have got out of the ER faster. Then I got what they said was a reaction to the Z-Pack—I think it was another infection.

Missed four days of school, probably a week of work. Didn’t go to mass Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday or take flowers to any of the places I usually do. I DID take the train to see the cherry blossoms, even though I could barely stand up, so as not to break the streak. And that’s what’s been happening. Or not happening. Another blood draw Wednesday.

TODAY IS EARTH DAY

NO MORE SCHOOL UNTIL AT LEAST JUNE

Except for studying for A+ Certification. 

PASSOVER ENDS AT SUNSET

Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.
