Eleven years later I heard planes flying low over my neighbourhood and couldn't help noticing. Low-flying planes have always made me nervous but now I think if we're going to be killed by them there's nothing to do about it.

One year to the day I adopted him I buried Puzzle's ashes. And watched the Green Mile. Both were surprisingly cathartic.

Somehow there is something kinda funny about a fight between a tattoo artist and a disgruntled customer. Especially at 2:00 AM. It's been years since a man has taken me to a tattoo parlour.

A guy got stabbed outside the Adams Morgan Farmer's Market. I was a couple hundred yards away. I was practically on that spot a couple hours earlier. And  on this the day before Adams Morgan Day.
